Have bumped into the following issue: [ec2-user@ip-172-31-20-172 redis-stable]$ make LANG=C cd src && make all make[1]: Entering directory `/home/ec2-user/redis-stable/src' CC adlist.o In file included from adlist.c:34:0: zmalloc.h:50:10: fatal error: jemalloc/jemalloc.h: No such file or directory #include <jemalloc/jemalloc.h> ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ compilation terminated. make[1]: *** [adlist.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ec2-user/redis-stable/src' make: *** [all] Error 2 Instead of building redis by 'make' , a workaround here is skipping jemalloc by using 'make MALLOC=libc' .
